As part of the help in the fight against the COVID-19 in Papua New Guinea, the People’s Republic of China presented K1 million (US$300 thousand) to Papua New Guinea as assistance.
Chinese Ambassador to PNG, Xue Bing presented the cheque to Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister, Patrick Pruaitch and representing the PNG Government and was witnessed by Port Moresby General Hospital Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr Paki Molumi and other senior doctors.
According to Chinese Ambassador, PRC «will also provide some testing kits but need a controlled temperature to transport these kits».
