The book collections of the Russian Corner in the National Library and Archives of Papua New Guinea were replenished with a new edition of the Miklouho-Maclay N. N. Collected Works in six volumes (second edition, revised and enlarged), published in printed and electronic versions in December 2020.

This edition, presented by the Miklouho-Maclay Foundation, is a unique description of the scientist’s research in Southeast Asia, Australia, Oceania and, of course, New Guinea, where he conducted his main research in the North East of the Island, gave a detailed description of everyday life of local people, leaving a good memory of himself and Russia, an essential ideological heritage on equality of races and peoples.
Papua New Guineans still keep the memory of their friend and have contributed to the opening of the Russian Corner in 2019, whose work is supported by the Miklouho-Maclay Foundation.
